Finding staff with redwigwam
By: Claire, redwigwam
On the redwigwam platform, you can find new workers for your business, or add your existing staff and use the platform to manage their shifts and pay them.
Or you can do both!
In this article, we’ll look at both solutions, and how you can use them to meet the needs of your business.
Finding new workers
At redwigwam we have large, nationwide pool of people who are looking for flexible and temporary work.
These workers are on hand to pick up shifts as and when you need them.
Some work regularly for the same business, others pick and choose their shifts working in a completely flexible manner across many different businesses.
Our worker pool grows daily, and they are always there to support your business.
You attract these workers by creating a job advert. When you do this, it is automatically shared with all suitable people nearby. They choose to apply for the role, and if they do, you review them and add them to your worker pool if they are suitable.
Once a worker is in your worker pool, you can invite them to book shifts.
You can add up to five workers to your worker pool on a free account, with a paid subscription available if you need more people.

Bringing your existing workers to redwigwam
If you already have regular workers working for you, you can invite them to join the redwigwam platform and add them to your worker pool.
When you create shifts, you can then invite these workers to book the hours they would usually work – and of course open out any they are unable to complete to the wider redwigwam worker pool.
You can communicate with your workers via the platform, and we also pay the workers on your behalf, removing all your payroll challenges.
To invite existing staff to your worker pool, simply click the 'invite worker' button which you'll find on the shift page.
You simply enter their email address and our system will do the rest. If they already have an active redwigwam account, they'll automatically be added to your worker pool, if not, we'll send them a link to register, and they will be added to your worker pool as soon as their account is complete.
